TRUTHS ABOUT BUYING
As you start your journey to find a house, there are a few facts and terms you must familiarize yourself with so that your buying experience is a good one.
FACT #1: BUYER'S REPRESENTATION AGREEMENT- This is an agreement between a REALTOR and a CLIENT. The Realtor is agreeing that they will do his/her best to show the client any and all properties that meet the client's criteria and execute the buying transaction for the client when they find the property that the client wishes to purchase. The Client is agreeing that he/she will only deal with that Realtor and that the Realtor will get paid for his/her efforts. Usually the Realtor is paid by the seller of the property at closing. At Bruce, Realtors we do not use "Buyer's Representation Agreements" to "lock you in" with us and then leave you looking for a house by yourself at the mercy of other Realtors to let you in houses. We will never tell you to call another Realtor to open a door for you. We are here to act as your Representative.
